Cancellation & Refund Policy โ€“ Oneway Cab Taxi

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled when booking cab services through onewaycabtaxi.in, WhatsApp, or customer care. By booking a ride, you agree to follow the policy below.

โœ… 1. Cancellation by Customer

Time of Cancellation: Refund Policy: More than 12 hours before pickup time100% refund (after payment gateway charges). 12 to 4 hours before pickup time: 50% refund of advance. Less than 4 hours before pickup time or No Show: No refund. After the trip has started, no refund

No Show Meaning: If the customer is unreachable, not boarding the cab, or unresponsive for 30 minutes at the pickup location.

๐Ÿš– 2. Cancellation by Company/Driver

A booking may be cancelled by the driver/company due to reasons such as:

  • Vehicle breakdown

  • Driver emergency

  • Natural calamities or road block

  • Unserviceable route

  • Unavailability of the driver last minute

In such cases:
โœ… Full refund of advance OR
โœ… Alternate taxi arrangement will be provided at the same price (subject to availability)

๐Ÿ’ฐ 3. Refund Timeline

  • Refunds are processed to the same account/payment method used while booking

  • Refund processing time: 3 working days

  • UPI refunds may be quicker within 48 hours

Note: Payment gateway/transaction charges are non-refundable.

๐Ÿงพ 4. Modification Policy (Date/Time Change)

  • Trip date/time modification allowed (if informed 12 hours before pickup)

๐Ÿš— 5. Conditions Where No Refund is Provided

No refund will be issued if:

  • Customer provides incorrect pickup address

  • Customer delays pickup beyond 60 minutes without prior information

  • Destination changes and the customer decides to cancel

  • Driver had already reached the pickup location

  • Cancellation due to traffic, delay, or personal reasons

๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ 6. Outstation Trip Cancellation Charges

If a driver has already started from the garage before the customer cancels:

  • Driver fuel allowance must be paid based on actual distance travelled

  • 300Rs cancellation charge with 12 hours of pickup time cancellation
